ARTWORK OF THE MONTH |
How is it awarded? Effective from September 2008. The Artwork of the Month is determined at the first meeting of each month, Art Critique. All artworks presented on the night are considered, regardless if they were submitted for critique or not. The Artwork of the Month is determined FOLLOWING completion of the critique and is selected by the invited critiquing artist. The President formally announces the new Artwork of the Month. A secret ballot of those attending on the night is then undertaken to determine the "Peoples' Choice". The artworks selected are displayed on the home page of the website for that month and the artists receive a certificate from the Society. |
