ArtMart

An opportunity for members to bring framed and unframed paintings, art books, magazines, picture frames and jewellery/craft and also any art equipment to sell on the day.

There is no commission charged by the Society so be prepared to sell at bargain prices. There will be time to do some sketching/painting so bring equipment to use in those quiet moments or complete that painting you’ve been meaning to finish...

PAINT-FEST

This is an annual 2 day event, which began in 2005, and is held on the second weekend in March. A number of top-line tutors provide professional advice in a workshop type environment. Participation in Paint-Fest is open to anyone interested in learning more about techniques and mediums but, a discount applies if you are a St George Art Society member. OTHER ART SHOWS

The Society co-ordinates Art Shows at Hurstville and Rockdale.

Members are eligible to present paintings for the Combined Art Societies of Sydney (C.A.S.S.) Awards.
