PROFILE

Joe began painting in 1998 after retiring from work. He spent three terms at the Julian Ashton School of Art and then followed up with a year at Hazelhurst Art Centre in Gymea with life drawing classes. At the same time he attended classes with Kevin Taylor before starting with Ros Psakis painting watercolours.

With her encouragement Joe began painting in oils as well. He also attended art courses at Bathurst Summer School of Art and ‘Art in Action’ at Merroo.

Joe has exhibited at St George Art Society, Oatley 101 Art Society and The Combined Art Society at Darling Harbour.
